Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova described the death of journalist Amal Khalil as a “serious crime” and expressed her condolences.
Providing details of the incident and her reaction, Zakharova said: “On April 22, Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil (Al Akhbar newspaper) was killed in a targeted attack by the Israeli army. I extend my condolences to her family. This brutal murder is a serious crime. There can be no justification for this.”
