Sybiha met with Lithuanian counterpart Budrys
Kyiv, January 22 (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said during his meeting with Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys that they welcomed Lithuania’s decision to provide new energy assistance to Ukraine.

Thanking Lithuania for the generator support provided, Sybiha said: “We are sincerely grateful for the important news that Lithuania will provide additional, vitally important energy assistance to Ukraine. This is a vital and timely contribution.”
Providing information on the content of the meeting, Sybiha stated: “I briefed my colleague on the situation on the battlefield and the latest developments in the peace talks. We agreed to establish further contacts at various levels and coordinated our positions ahead of next week’s international events. We paid special attention to the next steps in Ukraine’s integration into the EU.”
Conveying his congratulations on the occasion of Ukraine’s Unity Day, Minister Sybiha added: “On this symbolic day, I expressed my gratitude to Kęstutis for his personal efforts in supporting Ukraine and congratulated him on being awarded the Order of Merit by the President.”
