Asian markets showed a generally positive trend during intraday trading, although some indices posted limited losses.

In Australia, the ASX 200 index fell by 0.35% to 8,947.30 points, while Japan’s Nikkei index rose by 2.05% to 59,325.67 points.

In India, the Nifty 50 index gained 0.19% to reach 24,276.80 points, while Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index increased by 1.38% to 26,306.55 points.

In China, the Shanghai Composite Index also rose by 0.53% to trade at 4,048.64 points.

The data showed that risk appetite across the region remained largely intact, although limited selling pressure persisted in some markets.
